He Wanted To Change The World

He Wanted To Change The World

When he was a young man, he wanted to change the world.

He found it was difficult to change the world, so he tried to change his nation.

When he found he couldn’t change his nation, he began to focus on his town. He couldn’t change the town and as an older man, he tried to change his family.

Now, as an old man, he finally realized the only thing he could have changed is himself, and suddenly he realized that if long ago he had changed himself, he could have made an impact on his family; his town;his nation and he could indeed have changed the world.

Now read it all again and change “He” with “I” – how does this make YOU feel?

Happy New Year 2016! For those that truly wish to see a change in their lives I would say don’t wait for things to change out there as “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” ~ M. Gandhi
