Loss of Reason by Miles A. Maxwell

Loss of Reason is the story of two brothers searching to save their sister after the unimaginable happens in America. Their fight to search for their sister after a nuclear bomb hits America is, as you could only imagine, full of terror and uncertainty.
Without giving away any spoilers I found Loss of Reason an enjoyable read, which surprised me as I don’t usually read this type of book. As the story unfolds and the search moves forward I found myself feeling as if I was part of the story. The realistic details of what New York would look like after such a catastrophic event drew my imagination further and further into the story. The author Miles Maxwell has also left clues about how things can go wrong with just one little thing – watch out for the owl!
Loss of Reason has very strong characters from start to finish, all of whom have a story to tell. It’s scary to think that Maxwell has got such a realistic view of what might happen or what could happen, so convincingly horrific.
I could not put the book down, as I just had to know what was going to happen next and if they would find their sister and her family before it was too late. I will not tell you what happens, if you want to know get the book here at the moment – it’s priced very reasonably today on Amazon its FREE so grab a copy. I haven’t read book Two Search For Reason yet as I want to do it and the author justice and have the time to sit and read it straight through; if it’s as good as Loss of Reason I know I will not be able to put it down.
Highly recommended. Read Loss of Reason – it will blow your mind I am sure of that.

I am not the only one that has given this 5 stars on amazon,
here are a few of the reviews as a taster

“I absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop reading, all the while rooting for Cynthia’s family!
— Maulana Ridha T.

I loved this book so much I am now reading the second book. This book was very fast paced.I didn’t want to put it down. Actually I read it in two nights. It fit what could be happening in our world today. — Amazon Customer

Fast paced action and all-too-real seeming disaster scenes make this story both easy and difficult to read. I liked the characters of both Everon and Franklin, both heroes in their own right. Some of the side stories were encouraging and some were sad. — Cheryl Stout,TOP 1000 REVIEWER, VINE VOICE

Rip roaring story. Heavy duty sled ride through really nasty weather. Really liked this book. Extremely fast paced and extremely frightening as we spend time worrying about such things in this day and age. I like how Mr. Maxwell has woven each person’s tale together to form a cohesive narrative. . . I can see this made into a movie. — Susannah St Clair Foxy Loxy, VINE VOICE”

Charlotte Hains
Charlotte Hains left the UK for France after deciding she needed a change, taking on the huge project of renovating a house. In the UK her life consisted of getting up, going to work, coming home, going to bed, and just surviving. She now enjoys French life within the community of the village in which she lives, and feels privileged to be part of it. She describes her French neighbours as fantastic, offering her help in every way they can, and says she might have given up long ago if they hadn’t been so understanding.
With her house nearly finished she found herself with long nights and lots of thumb twiddling, reading anything she could get on her iPad. In honesty, she admits it was here that Fifty Shades of Grey caught her eye. Unbeknownst to her, her sister was reading it as well. Her sister thought that, because Charlotte has such a creative side, maybe she’d be able to write a book too. As a joke, Charlotte emailed her sister her stories, also written on her iPad. She researched blogs and BDSM sites on the internet, and so Introducing Charlotte came alive. Before she knew it, Charlotte had over 150,000 words which she’d sent by email in instalments to her sister, and there was more than enough for a book...or maybe even two!
