Carolyn Mathews
I was born in London, of Irish parents. Surviving a convent education, I started out as a management trainee, gave it up to work in a Spanish nightclub, and finally became an English lecturer. During my teaching years I wrote plays for language learners but in the past five years have produced three novels: the Pandora Trilogy. My interest in the spiritual, and an awareness of how ridiculous that can seem to others, is reflected in the first book, 'Transforming Pandora'. The second, 'Squaring Circles', sees Pandora in the midst of a mystery and the third, 'Pandora's Gift', finds her involved in a situation most people would deem impossible. I currently live in Hertfordshire, and practise yoga and meditation whenever possible, in the hope of eventually getting them right.
