A is for apple, so juicy and ripe,
B is for bottle, all shiny and bright.
C is for chocolate, so tasty and nice,
D is for dog, with bright, sparkling eyes.
E is for egg, with a nice yellow yolk,
F is for friends and other nice folk.
G is for games, with laughter and fun,
H is for home, when your long day is done.
I is for igloo, a house made of ice,
J is for jelly and ice-cream, so nice.
K is for kettle, to make cup’s of tea,
L is for light, to help us to see.
M is for Mother, the one we all love,
N is for night, with stars up above.
O is for orange, a tasty round fruit,
P is for polish, a bright shiny boot.
Q is for quiet, a calm peaceful place,
R is for rocket, to blast into space.
S is for sugar, to make our food sweet,
T is for toes, at the end of your feet.
U is for umbrella, to shelter from rain,
V is for voyage, a trip on a train.
W is for window, to watch the world awhile,
X is for xylophone, tunes to make you smile.
Y is for yacht, to go sailing away,
Z is for zoo, for another fun day.
