Biography
Gary A. DePaul, PhD
I’m that guy who stops his car, gets out, and moves a turtle to the side of the road. When I’m not rescuing turtles, I’m serving cats. When I’m not serving cats, I’m helping people lead more
effectively. When I’m not helping people lead, I’m working with organizations to strengthen their leadership-development programs.
Before writing leadership books, I’ve worked at universities as an administrator and spent sixteen years working in corporate America. Since then, I’ve moved on to writing and consulting.
Throughout my career, I’ve managed large and small teams. I’ve made plenty of mistakes. Still, I’ve matured from these experiences—at least, I hope I have.
Even though I’ve accomplished much, I’m still learning and am trying to push myself outside of my comfort zone.
