A young girl named Gracie is falsely accused of a crime on the morning of her eleventh birthday, and because of this unexpected event she gets sent away for fifteen years. Juvie is first which then leads to prison with age. Gracie has no hope of love until nine years later when she gets grace from God for a chance to live like a “Normal” human being for a couple of weeks. (With some restrictions of course). She won’t completely be free because of this, but it would be enough to save her soul for a little while. On this journey though, Gracie discovers so many new things, and people. (One in particular). She starts to fill in the cracks of pictures she had once lost in her mind, but some of these things she doesn’t wish to let go of. Gracie falls from grace, and then is sentenced to the dark forever. Beautiful things really only last a while. With time they grow dark, and shrink like a rose. Where are the colors of life? Did Gracie really find them? Or was it really dark all along? So much grace, and yet only one of them was truly beautiful.
