Rehearsal Banquet

Rehearsal Banquet is a collection of poems on grief, love, break-up, environmental issues and comedy. The forty-four poems takes the reader through a series of lyrical verses that presents the world in a different perspective: a view between the surrealist and real. Small themes grow as the book progresses, into bigger, complicated ideas that riddles and plays with ambiguity. Like all poems, there are hidden truths, broken perspectives of the narrator, silent meanings that get better with each reading. It’s humorous, belligerently argumentative, and minimalist in presentation of its ideas. There are also two bonus short stories in the last five pages of the book, adding a pinch of heavy-reading after the lighthearted, contemporary poetry.
