It took me until I was 57 to finally do something about my dream to become a published author, though I have written millions of words through my 35-year career as a sports journalist.
My debut novel, Sunbeam, was self-published in November 2019, followed by Family Business in May 2020.
I was born in Sheffield, the city I used as the backdrop for both books, and have lived in Derby since 1988.
