Allan Taylor. Born in Zimbabwe, and brought up in Zambia, he studied in South Africa and has worked in the Congo and Gabon. It is his quirk to confuse the sensual with the spiritual, and the factual with the imaginary in his writing. This is possibly as a result of his intimate relationship with the African bush and its people. His anecdotal writing leaves crumbs of metaphysical inquiry to tantalize the reader’s taste buds for a strangely familiar African unknown.
He calls himself a Euro African and lives in ‘the bush’, where he belongs.
