Chris Williams grew-up in Levittown, PA in the 1960s and early 70s. He has many fond memories of those years, including trips on the train to see the Phillies play at historic Connie Mack Stadium. A multi-published author, he attended Shippensburg University for three years and later finished by earning a degree in Communication from Almeda College and University.
Along with being prolific freelance writer, Chris is a Certified Level 3 Pet Trainer at the PetSmart store in Hanover, PA. An ardent dog lover, he and his wife Sue are currently fostering a 12-year-old senior rescue, a beagle-mix (and gentle soul) named "Brucey."
Williams loves to read and watch classic TV shows and movies. Some of his TV favorites include WAGON TRAIN, COMBAT! PERRY MASON and COLUMBO. Far-and-away his favorite genre of movie is comedy, with a preference for the timeless laughs offered by Laurel and Hardy, the Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges.
Musically, Chris is stuck in the 60's and 70's and makes no apologies for it. He was never cool and stopped trying to be cool decades ago. Some of his favorite artists include The Beatles, Moody Blues, Temptations, Simon and Garfunkle, Petula Clark, The Seekers, The Monkees.
In his past life, he was a radio announcer for over 35 years, working at several different stations. Although he still has friends in the industry, sometimes those days as a DJ seem like they happened a million years ago. He doesn't miss broadcasting and has no plans to "get back into it."
God willing, he'll keep writing until the day he dies.
