Deanna Hurtubise

Before becoming a writer of children's books, Deanna taught high school and college level French for 25 years. Having traveled extensively throughout France, she led many student groups and visited the Lascaux Caves of prehistoric art which inspired the book, The Boys Who Discovered Yesterday. The second in the French historic fiction series, Felix and Belakana, Children of the Druid, was recently published in 2015. The third in the series is coming soon. Inspired by her 8 grandchildren, she has also written two picture books, So Many Hugs and A Guardian Angel's Lesson. She currently teaches French for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Cincinnati and lectures on French history and travel.
