Ian C Douglas is the author of the Zeke Hailey series of YA novels. He also writes short stories, travel memoir, apps, press articles, even the odd radio play. He grew up in London and studied in Nottingham. After teaching English in East Asia for many years, he returned to the UK and graduated with a MA in Creative Writing (Distinction). Today, Ian lives in Robin Hood country with his wife and children. He mentors emerging writers, serves as a literacy ambassador, runs workshops, and appears regularly on local TV. He is also an artist, a teacher and a counsellor. Sci-fi is his first love and his passion for the genre inspired him to create the world of Zeke Hailey.
