Larry Andrews is referred to by his friends as a true renaissance man. Of Danish/Swedish ancestry, his mastery of skills in multiple fields and disciplines developed over the years. After military service, a career in aerospace would be shaped from the early days of rocketry through the launching of communication satellites and the moon landing. A former rocket scientist and aerospace program manager, He also taught graduate courses at the University of Southern California. He headed the U.S. delegation of an ISO committee for Space Operations that met in many of the space-faring nations. As an author, his writings reflect the individuals he met and the places he visited. It is in the writing of his current novel 'A Space Oddity' that he displays his ability to reflect heavily on these past travels and his love for people and cultures.
