Philip Brown is the acclaimed author of two astrology books and a young adult urban fantasy novel.
"Light Runner," published by Strange Fictions Press (an imprint of Vagabondage Press), is a contemporary teen fantasy that tells the story of a sixteen year-old girl who finds an armband that can heal wounds. Book One of the three-book "Light Runner" series, it's already being called an "intense, plot-based read" and a "great read . . . very original--not your everyday fantasy book."
"Cosmic Trends: Astrology Connects the Dots" (a finalist for the Coalition of Visionary Resources award) was published by Llewellyn Worldwide in 2006. One reviewer wrote that "Cosmic Trends" was, simply, "...the best Astrological book I've ever read."
In 2011, "On the Cusp: Astrological Reflections from the Threshold" was released as an e-book. It is a compilation of the author's widely read AstroFutureTrends blog. Philip has also written for "Dell Horoscope" and "The Mountain Astrologer."
Philip studied to become a Shakespearean actor in London, spent three years in a yoga ashram, and once lived on a Kona coffee farm on the Big Island of Hawaii.
