Can Exercise Protect Millions From The Dangers Of COVID-19?

Active athletes are least susceptible to COVID-19 and its harmful
effects, shows news, medical and encyclopedic sources. WHO launched the
Every Move Counts campaign on 2020-11-25 after reading this book. Dr.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus posted the campaign on LinkedIn. Next day WHO
posted on YouTube that “Up to 5 million deaths a year could be averted
if the global population was more active.”

Active athletes are least susceptible to COVID-19 and its harmful
effects, shows news, medical and encyclopedic sources. Simply announcing
THIS worldwide can save millions of lives over the next few years,
starting now, but a very big campaign is required to convince everyone.
When WHO became aware of the content of this book, they launched the
Every Move Counts campaign on 2020-11-25. There is still a dearth of
parleys on the relationships between exercise, health, happiness and
livelihood. We need to understand overtraining as well. Humans, it
seems, might as well become a species of athletes to survive emerging
zoonotic diseases like COVID-19 best.

After reading this title,
the World Health Organization did post on YouTube on 2020-11-26, “Up to 5
million deaths a year could be averted if the global population was
more active. At a time when many people are home bound due to COVID-19,
new WHO Guidelines on physical activity and sedentary behavior,
emphasize that everyone, of all ages and abilities, can be physically
active and that every type of movement counts.”

Maximal aerobic
capacity (VO₂ max) is widely used as an indicator of cardiorespiratory
fitness which is apparently the best way to fortify against COVID-19 and
is optimized by engaging in hard breathing aerobic exercise for at
least 60 min a day. We should work out to survive the COVID-19 pandemic
and emerging respiratory diseases and help ourselves overcome the
COVID-19 recession, that was estimated to leave its effects on
generations, throwing 9.7 million children, mostly girls, out of school
by the end of 2020.

LinkedIn version 2020-10-23T22:24:00Z of the
book was shared with Head, Strategy, Planning & Coordination at the
Department of Communications of the World Health Organization who in
turn shared it with WHO’s technical experts in 2020-10. This title is
being released as an eBook to increase access to its content and save
lives. Syndication requests from newspapers and periodicals are welcome.
The book, often referred to as a COVID-19 survival surprise covers many
related topics. Your frank review can induce more people to exercise.
