This story kept me captivated from beginning to end. The writing style was superb and the story line felt original and unique. The characters were also believable and had their own distinct voices. One of my absolutely favorite things in a story is well-developed character and this story definitely delivered!
The world-building was rich and unique, full of dark, yet believable themes. Nadira was an absolute delight to follow through this world. Strong-willed and reliable the entire time. When she was upset, I was upset. When she was tempered and snarky, I was grinning.
My husband, who doesn’t read, had to sit through a very thorough summary of the entire book. And at the end, even he was interested in the story line and curious about the next book. Anyone considering this book should stop and try it out already.
