Once Upon A Christmas Eve

I am Deborah J Barker and I live in the English countryside in Hampshire, UK, with my husband and our Golden Retriever, Flossie and a Border Terror called Charlie Brown. I am wife to one, mother to five grown children and grandmother to four gorgeous little boys and two beautiful little girls. In addition, we are Trustees and mother and father figures, for our now adult nephew who has Asperger’s Syndrome, following the loss of my sister and brother-in-law, several years ago.

I love to write and read and do both as much as I can. I have had quite a few short stories published in women’s magazines and a few in other, less well known, publications. In the mid to late nineties, I wrote a humorous, monthly column for America Online as well as a monthly column in the guise of my dog, for a cat magazine, printed in America.

I have written several, as yet unpublished, novels, one or perhaps even two of which, will shortly be available on Amazon as Kindle downloads. The link will be posted on my blog in due course.
